As God continues to bless All Saints with more people, no doubt you’ve felt our walls close in a bit tighter. Our church is full of life, but it’s also feeling a bit cramped! Such growth is exciting to be a part of, but it does raise the question of how we are to be good stewards of it.

For the past seven months, the vestry has been focused on this question. We believe that faithfulness to God’s calling is central to answering this question. So with ongoing feedback from you, the vestry has been working to rearticulate both the mission of the Church and how we as one particular church uniquely pursue this mission—what we’re calling our personality.

The graphic below represents the outcome of our work, summarizing our mission and personality. The vestry plans to use this as a tool to respond to our growth in ways that will always remain faithful to God’s calling .

One of the first steps the vestry is currently exploring for managing our growth is to have two of the same services on Sundays . After gaining input from the choir and other key ministry volunteers, we now hope to hear from you the parish about this possibility. Our next Parish Forum will be Wednesday, August 10 at 6:00 p.m. A light meal and childcare will be provided. We hope to see you there.

And as always, remember to keep praying for our wonderful parish—for unity, expectancy, and faithfulness.
