6pm Parish Forum on Property Development
After six months of prayer and collaboration, we are nearing the point when we will hire an architectural firm to design the Master Plan for the development of our 10 -acre property. The Management & Recruitment Team has been working closely with the Research & Interview Team, and together they hope to recommend three or four firms to the Vestry to interview in September.
Once the right architect firm is hired, we will enter a three- month discovery process, during which time the firm will learn more about us as a church and how we envision our Mission & Personality being fleshed out in the development of our property. Over the past year, the Vestry has been praying and talking a lot about how our property should be developed. We want to keep the parish fully connected to this conversation along the way.
While our polity places key decisions into the hands of our leaders, our leaders want to listen to and represent the heartbeat of the parish. Our aim is to ensure the parish always remains informed, calling you to pray with us, to think alongside us, and to share your wisdom with us.
One way we would like to do this is to invite you to participate in a Parish Forum on Wednesday, August 29 from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. Dessert and coffee as well as childcare for children ages 3 and under will be provided. We hope to see you there.
