Adult Small Groups That Meet in Homes

Life with God is a life of prayer. And there are hundreds if not thousands of ways that we as Christians can pray. During Lent, we are challenged to take stock of our prayer life, to try out new practices of prayer as a way to renew our life with God. The disciples model for us an attitude of eagerness when it comes to prayer, asking Jesus, “Lord, teach us to pray.” That is the theme for our Lenten Pastorates this year, to ask the Lord to teach us to pray, to find new methods and ways we can commune with the Father.

Pastorates are small groups that meet regularly in someone’s home over a meal and a time of reflection and discussion. The Pastorates listed below each offer a unique prayer practice for you to consider trying this Lent. We encourage you to sign up for one.
