Frequently Asked Questions
Parents or caregivers of children 4 and under are eligible to receive diapers. There are no income or work requirements for eligibility. Beginning in September of 2024, any parent or caregiver that is eligible to receive diapers through TN Care will not be eligible to receive diapers from The Diaper Project.
Anyone wishing to receive diapers must register every month. This ensures we have the correct sizes. You can access the registration form here. If you have trouble accessing or completing the form, you can email Olivia Abernathy for assistance.
Registration for each month will open the day after the previous month’s pick-up day. For example, diapers will be distributed on August 8th and you can begin registering for September on August 9 . Registration will close down one week before the designated pick-up day or whenever we reach our maximum capacity of diapers. We encourage you to register as soon as possible.
The only documentation we need is proof of a Birth Certificate for each child. A Mother’s Copy is sufficient. You only need to show proof of Birth Certificate the first time you pick up diapers. You can either bring the documentation when you come to pick up diapers or you can email it beforehand to olivia@allsaintsjackson.com.
You will receive an email at least one week before the pick-up day confirming that you are approved to pick up diapers. Please make sure you register with a correct and active email address.
Diapers are distributed the second Thursday of every month from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.
At All Saints Anglican Church located at 212 McClellan Rd in Jackson.
Because we rely on volunteers for diaper distribution, we can not accommodate alternate pick- up times. If you are unable to pick up at the designated time you can send someone to pick up diapers on your behalf.
When you come to pick up diapers, you will park in the parking lot and a friendly volunteer will direct you to a check-in table. You will check-in under the last name given on the registration form, show your documentation if you have not already, and a volunteer will bring you your diapers. Someone will help carry the diapers to your car if you need assistance.
Child(ren) do not have to be present for you to pick up diapers, but you are more than welcome to bring them with you! We may even have some small treats for children who come on pick up day.
We purchase most of our diapers wholesale from a distributor and the diapers are not branded. We also receive donations of many different brands. We can try to accommodate brand preferences due to allergies, but we cannot guarantee it.
We currently only provide diapers, but we have a resource table at the pick-up location for you to learn more about other resources in our community.
We love community partners! You can email Olivia Abernathy to learn more about how you can partner with The Diaper Project.
